We are a group of people who consider art a powerful communication tool that has every chance of starting a process of positive change on a larger scale.
Our mission is to use stop-motion animation as a communication tool to raise people's awareness of environmental issues, such as waste management, around the world. This art can lead to positive changes in the consciousness and behavior of people regarding environmental issues and help create a culture of waste behavior among the general public.
Our animated film is the story of Garby, a typical representative of the era of consumerism. All the decorations for him are made of garbage: sharks from bottles and plastic knives; jungle from bottle caps; scaffolding from toothbrushes; birds from plastic bags and much more.
We collected all the garbage used for the production of animated films on the streets and in the green areas of the Kiev district of Podil, known for its history and artistic significance.
PlastikWood is a project aimed at showing the danger of the irresponsible waste management for the world and each of us in particular. Using well-known symbols, he satirically describes what awaits us in the future if we do not want to change our behavior
We work on a volunteer basis, and really want to develop the project, continuing to work and expanding the range of impact, by expanding the tools and communication channels, and we definitely need your help in this
